Before leaving this morning, I had the chance to visit the water mill. I didn’t see it in action, but I know it works.
The walk through the Touraine region, surrounded by vineyard fields, was lovely.
There were a few drops of rain, but nothing too serious.
Tonight, I’m staying in Vouvray, east of Tours, which I’ll be passing through tomorrow.
I haven’t found a place to stay for tomorrow night yet, but it should be fine—God is with me! 🙂
Funny story: This morning, I took a wrong turn (the signs aren’t great), and just as I did, someone opened their window to adjust their shutters. The guy called out, “Wrong turn, buddy!” and I immediately knew he was talking to me. I thanked him, corrected my path, and had a good laugh !
Avant de partir ce matin, j’ai eu l’occasion de visiter le moulin à eau. Je ne l’ai pas vu en fonctionnement, mais je sais qu’il fonctionne.
La promenade à travers la région de Touraine, au milieu des vignobles, était très agréable.
Il est tombé quelques gouttes de pluie, mais rien de bien méchant.
Ce soir, je dors à Vouvray, à l’est de Tours, que je traverserai demain.
Je n’ai pas encore trouvé d’endroit où dormir demain soir, mais ça devrait aller—Dieu est avec moi ! 🙂
Petite anecdote : ce matin, j’ai pris un mauvais chemin (les panneaux ne sont pas top), et au même moment, quelqu’un a ouvert sa fenêtre pour ouvrir ses volets. Le gars a lancé : « Mauvaise direction, mon pote ! » et j’ai tout de suite compris qu’il me parlait. Je l’ai remercié, j’ai repris le bon chemin et j’ai bien ri !
