Didier and Eric, the two pilgrims we’ve been staying with for the past two nights, started early this morning. So Arthur and I decided to follow their lead and leave at the same time.
We began walking at 7 a.m. It was still a bit dark, with a layer of fog around us. We didn’t get to see the sunrise because the fog only lifted around noon.
We arrived at our destination early. Eric and I went to a sports store to pick up some gear, while Didier and Arthur needed to visit a laundromat.
Later, Eric and I also stopped by the post office to send back a few things we no longer needed. With that, and some of the new gear I picked up, I think I managed to lighten my load by about 1 to 2 kilograms!
Two more pilgrims joined us today. They’re travelling by bike and covered an impressive 93 km!
Didier et Eric, les deux pèlerins avec qui nous avons partagé les deux dernières nuits, sont partis tôt ce matin. Arthur et moi avons décidé de suivre leur exemple et de partir en même temps.
Nous avons commencé à marcher à 7 heures. Il faisait encore un peu sombre, et il y avait du brouillard. Nous n’avons pas pu voir le lever du soleil, car le brouillard ne s’est levé qu’autour de midi.
Nous sommes arrivés à destination assez tôt. Eric et moi sommes allés dans un magasin de sport pour acheter un peu d’équipement, tandis que Didier et Arthur avaient besoin d’aller à la laverie.
Ensuite, Eric et moi sommes aussi passés à la poste pour renvoyer quelques affaires devenues inutiles. Avec ça, et en tenant compte des nouveaux achats, je pense avoir allégé mon sac d’environ 1 à 2 kilos !
Deux autres pèlerins nous ont rejoints aujourd’hui. Ils voyagent à vélo et ont parcouru pas moins de 93 km dans la journée !
